Why clients run their contractors through us.
LUVI Contract is the contract recruitment model inside LUVI Consulting. We place individual contractors across the construction value chain and we stand up entire project teams against a fixed delivery date.
Available candidates, ready to mobilise
We hold a live bench of cleared, referenced and available contractors across the full value chain. When a brief lands, candidates are ready, not three weeks away.
One online portal, end to end
Timesheets issued, filled, approved and invoiced online. The contractor logs the time, you sign it off, LUVI pays and invoices. No paper, no chasing, full visibility.
We fund the payroll
Seven, fourteen, thirty or sixty day terms to suit you. LUVI funds the pay run and passes the funding on, so contractors are paid on time regardless of your payment cycle.
Whole contract teams
Not just one contractor. We stand up complete project teams with away from home allowances, travel, mobilisation, compliance and payroll coordinated under one partner.
Timed, signed, paid.
Every LUVI contractor is managed through one online portal. Time is logged by the contractor, approved by you and invoiced by LUVI without a single piece of paper. You see exactly who is on site, what they have worked and what it costs, in real time.
Candidate ready
We confirm a cleared, referenced and available contractor and mobilise them onto your project.
Timesheet issued
The contractor receives their timesheet on the LUVI portal as soon as they are booked on.
Contractor logs time
Hours, days and rates logged online each pay period, against the right rate and allowances.
Client signs off
Your approver is emailed, logs on and signs the timesheet off online in minutes.
LUVI pays and invoices
LUVI funds and runs the pay, then invoices you. The contractor is paid on time, every time.
We carry the funding on every contractor.
We pay on the agreed run and pass the funding on, so contractors are never left waiting on your own payment cycle. Sixty day terms available where required.
Whole contract teams, coordinated end to end.
When you need more than a single contractor, LUVI stands up the whole team. We plan the org chart against your schedule, mobilise contractors in waves and coordinate everything from away from home allowances to compliance and payroll, all under one partner and one invoice.
-
Away from home allowances
Living away from home allowances, travel, accommodation and FIFO or DIDO rotations built into the rate and managed on your behalf. We get the package right so the contractor stays on site.
-
One coordination point
Lucas or Vinnie own the program. One point of contact, one cadence and one consolidated invoice across the entire contract team, however many roles are running.
-
Compliance and insurances
Right to work, tickets, inductions, medicals, insurances and site compliance checked and held before mobilisation. Audit ready records for every contractor on your project.
-
Scale up and down
Release roles in waves as the program ramps and demobilise cleanly as scopes close out. The team flexes to your delivery curve, not a fixed headcount.
- Plan. Org chart built against your schedule and delivery curve.
- Mobilise. Cleared, inducted and on site, in waves as the program ramps.
- Manage. Portal, timesheets and approvals, with full visibility of cost.
- Pay. Funded by LUVI on your terms, contractors paid on the agreed run.
- Demob. Clean scope close out, with people moved to their next role.
One point of contact. One cadence. One consolidated invoice, however many roles are running.

We look after all of Australia and New Zealand.
Wherever your project sits, LUVI looks after it. We mobilise, manage, pay and care for contractors in every Australian state and territory and right across New Zealand. One portal, one partner, the whole country and the Trans Tasman covered.
Project hubs we mobilise into
Licensed and compliant
Licensed in every Australian jurisdiction that requires it, and fully compliant across every other state, territory and New Zealand. Certificates of currency, insurances and right to work records on request.
Regional and remote delivery
Renewable energy zones, regional data centre campuses and remote resource sites. Accommodation, travel, rotations and allowances structured properly so contractors stay to the end of the job.
Contractors who feel looked after stay on site.
Retention is the quiet risk on every project. LUVI looks after the people we place so they stay to the end of the job, for a steadier team and lower demobilisation risk for you.
Paid right, paid on time
Funded pay runs, correct rates, superannuation and entitlements handled. No late pay, no errors, no contractor chasing an invoice.
Allowances done properly
Living away from home allowances, travel, accommodation and rotations set up correctly so contractors are never left out of pocket.
A real person to call
Lucas or Vinnie are on the phone, not a faceless agency line. Pay, timesheet or site questions sorted the same day.
Mobilisation handled
Flights, accommodation, inductions and tickets organised before day one, so the contractor lands on site ready to work.
Covered and compliant
Workers compensation, insurances, right to work and site compliance carried by LUVI as the employer of record. Everyone is protected.
The next project lined up
When a contract closes out, we move good people onto the next role. Continuity for them, a warm and ready bench for you.

Contracting, answered.
Do you place contractors on a day rate or an hourly rate?
Both. Site and construction roles are usually engaged on an hourly rate with overtime provisions. Professional and project roles are usually engaged on a day rate. We will recommend whichever structure fits the scope, the roster and the award or agreement position for that role.
Who employs the contractor and carries the insurances?
LUVI is the employer of record for contractors we place on a LUVI contract. We carry workers compensation and insurances, hold right to work, tickets, inductions and medicals before mobilisation, and keep audit ready compliance records for every contractor on your project. Certificates of currency are available on request.
How does timesheeting and approval work?
Every contractor is managed through one online portal. The timesheet is issued as soon as they are booked on, the contractor logs their hours or days each pay period, your nominated approver is emailed and signs it off online in minutes, and LUVI pays and invoices. No paper and full visibility of who is on site and what it costs.
What are your payment terms?
Seven, fourteen, thirty or sixty day terms to suit you. LUVI funds the pay run and pays contractors on the agreed cycle regardless of when you settle, so your contractors are paid on time whatever your own payment cycle looks like.
Can you stand up a whole project team rather than one contractor?
Yes. We plan the org chart against your schedule, mobilise contractors in waves as the program ramps, and coordinate away from home allowances, travel, accommodation, rotations, compliance and payroll under one point of contact and one consolidated invoice. Recent programs have run from a twelve role PMO stand up to a sixty five role multi site build out.
Which locations do you cover?
Every Australian state and territory and right across New Zealand. We are Brisbane based and we mobilise, manage, pay and look after contractors nationally and across the Tasman on one portal and one invoice. We hold licences in every Australian jurisdiction that requires one.
When should I use contract rather than permanent recruitment?
Two tests. Does the role survive the project, and is the demand curve flat or peaked. If the function continues after the scope closes out, hire permanently. If it genuinely ends with the scope, or the requirement is a defined window such as a commissioning or outage peak, contract is the better structure. We walk through this properly in our note on contract or permanent.
How quickly can a contractor mobilise?
We hold a live bench of cleared, referenced and available contractors across the construction value chain, so a brief usually converts to candidates in days rather than weeks. Actual mobilisation depends on site inductions, medicals and travel, which we organise before day one.
Not the right shape for your brief?
Four models, and we will tell you honestly which one fits. Most clients end up using more than one of them over a relationship.
